Immovable heritage links people to their ancestors, transmits knowledge and stimulates local economic growth. However, its preservation traditionally involves the use of destructive testing, which causes irreversible damage to the heritage and requires the collection of many samples, especially when evaluating earthen constructions, common on the coast of Peru and whose mechanical properties are highly variable. Thus, the incorporation of non-destructive testing methods is being sought, which allow the analysis and characterization of the real state of the structure without damaging it. In Peru there are few examples of the use of non-destructive methods for the evaluation of historic buildings and there is a gap in terms of their implementation methodologies. Therefore, this thesis proposes a practical and efficient framework for the application and correlation of non-destructive methods in the structural diagnosis of Building E in the Archaeological Monumental Zone of El Huarco, using thermography, radio waves, microtremors and rebound hammers. An initial finite element model and a spectral modal analysis were also carried out. The results revealed a medium to high level of damage and a very high seismic vulnerability, allowing to identify areas of greater deterioration and to propose preventive conservation activities. The research constitutes a starting point for what is expected to be the process of recognition and future preservation of immovable heritage in Peru.
