This document is focused on the geological study of the Ánimas vein at level 6 to generate mineral resources for Bateas Mining Company. For which, this document is divided in six chapters, briefly described as follows: Chapter I presents general aspects of the study area, such as location and accessibility. The Bateas mine is located in the department of Arequipa, province and district of Caylloma. The topography varies with altitudes ranging from 4500 to 5000 masl, so the climate presents rainy summers and dry winters with moderate frosts. Chapter II describes the Regional Geology around the study area. Geomorphologically it develops in an environment characterized by glacial modeling and other geoforms of volcanic origin. The geoform to which it belongs is called Caylloma Depression, characterized by presenting undulating walls (4500 masl) since they were modeled by glacial action and the floor of said depression (4200 masl) is covered by Pleistocene volcanic material. Geologically, it encompasses the Paleogene-age Orcopampa formation (Tacaza Group), formed by tuffs interspersed with agglomerates. Chapter III describes the geology of the Caylloma district, made up of the Tacaza volcanic group where the structures are located. The Tacaza volcanic group are lavas of intermediate siliceous composition with a porphyritic texture, the dominant color is reddish brown, changing to greenish in the chlorite alteration zones. In Chapter IV, the characteristics of the mineralized structures in the mining property, which belong to the epithermal type of intermediate sulfidation type, are described. The ore minerals are sulfosalts of silver, native gold and minor channels and 21 drill holes. In addition, a methodology for the evaluation or estimation of mineral resources is described, showing the applied corrections and the cubing parameters.en
