| dc.description.abstract | The deposit of the Pierina mine which exploite more than 10 years ago. It is a disseminated deposit formed in an epithermal high-sulfidation environment hosted in volcanic rocks from the Calipuy group. The geological model of the deposit was constructed using 1676 boreholes covering approximately 258.112 meters analyzed for gold and silver. The alteration and mineralization of the Pierina mine occurred between 14.1 and 14.7 Ma, due to hydrothermal fluids transported through shear structures Katty and cake are pervasive, is pervasive invade dacitic tuffs located on the upper levels. The structures are intensely silicified Katty to "Vuggy Silica" and laterally zoned quartz-alunite. According to the structural description, lithology and mineralization, it appears that mineralization at Pierina has been through shear structures produced by Roxana Tinyash and failures. Also, both the Roxana faults, as shear structures, dipping to the south side, so it is assumed that the mineralizing fluids come from that sector. Restricted by low permeability rocks and andesitic flows domicos. RecursosModelingInc (RMI) initially developed five structural domains demarcated by Erika, and Gladys Tinyash faults. After additional studies RMI passed two structural domains defined by Erika fault From east to west. The trend east-west fault Erika defines two distinct populations. The Erika fault was used to define domains block south and north which were used for restricting resource estimation of gold. In the block model of the field TOPO is based on the historical original topographic percentage that has been led in the model since 2000. The 2010 model Pierina was built using the alteration, gold envelopes, And fault domains to restrict the estimation. The inverse distance method and the method of indicators were used to estimate the block models. | en |
