Creación del servicio educativo especializado para estudiantes de 2do grado de secundaria de educación básica regular con alto desempeño académico de la región Piura

Abstract

This work was developed at the Plaindes company where I participated as part of the team who prepared the profile of the public investment project: "Creation of the specialized educational service for 2nd grade secondary school students of regular basic education with high academic performance in the Piura region." In this regard, economic authors such as Barro (1990) concludes that public investment has a direct effect on the sustainability of economic growth. The evaluation of this project was carried out within the framework of the National Public Investment System in order to guarantee that budget resources are used efficiently and mainly that the project contributes to the generation of social benefits to increase access to education services and as a consequence promote economic growth in the country. High-performing students from the Piura region had limited access to a specialized educational service since most accessed the traditional educational system, only 10.1% (year 2014) of the applicants from the Piura region could access this service in the High School. Therefore, the construction of the High-Performance School, acquisition and implementation of furniture and sports equipment in the Piura region was proposed.
