Abstract

This report is structured in two main chapters. Chapter I outlines my general professional career path, demonstrating how my professional experience has allowed me to integrate theoretical foundations with practical application. It also describes the characteristics of the organization where I currently work and the specific activities I have carried out as a Regulatory and Economic Studies Analyst, highlighting my participation in the preparation of technical reports and intra-institutional coordination with other areas of my work, as well as inter-institutional coordination with government entities. Chapter II describes the work carried out within the framework of the regulatory entity's opinion process on Concession Contracts, specifically during the preparation of the Technical Opinion Report for the Concession Contract associated with the Co-financed Private Initiative Peripheral Ring Road. This opinion was formulated as part of the process of structuring new concession contracts under the responsibility of Proinversión, with the aim of contributing to the comprehensive improvement of infrastructure projects, particularly in aspects related to the tariff system, investment, project development, and the sustainability of the concession. The work also included proposals aimed at strengthening the technical basis of the contractual design and optimizing certain contractual clauses, with the aim of expanding coverage for users, improving implementation scenarios and mitigating project risks.
