Resumen

In a market economy like the Peruvian one, financial entities are the main financing option for projects of various kinds, as well as to make up for temporary lacks money. As part of the financial entities, and in addition to the services offered by the Banks, the Microfinance System arises in Peru, which is mainly made up of: Municipal Savings and Credit Banks (CMAC), Mibanco, Financial Banks, Rural Savings and Credit Banks (CRAC), Credit Companies (EC before EDPYME) and the last addition is represented by the Savings and Credit Cooperatives (COOPAC). One of the most represented conglomerates within the microfinance ecosystem are the Municipal Savings and Credit Funds, some of which have experienced tremendous growth and, in addition to serving a wide variety of audiences, have as their main objective the provision of financial services to small and micro-entrepreneurs, who make up a high percentage of national production. If one or more of the financial companies known as CMAC have problems with non-payment of the loans they grant, it would probably generate significant impacts within the financial system itself, taking into consideration the systemic risk to which financing conglomerates are exposed at the global level. world. In this sense, the main purpose of this work is to recognize the determinants of the delinquency of the Municipal Savings Banks between the years 2009 to 2019, for which it is proposed to jointly carry out a panel-type regression of data with the information of the Municipal Savings Banks.
