Análisis estructural en vetas de alto buzamiento y su comportamiento a profundidad en la búsqueda de estructuras mineralizadas favorables en yacimientos polimetálicos

Abstract

The objective of this research is the structural analysis of high dip veins and their deepening in the search for favorable mineralized structures in polymetallic deposits, according to the analytical techniques known and applied in the field of Geology. In the first place, a data collection of azimuths, dip, power of the mineralized structures 12 de Mayo and Española Veins are performed; in the same way, samples are taken to analyze them for Ag, Pb, Zn. Geological sections are systematically made every 15 m. After collecting this data; they are digitized and a model of these structures is obtained in order to understand their horizontal and vertical behavior. With this information obtained, the possible projections of the Veins at depth are predicted and a drilling mesh is prepared to confirm the existence of these mineralized structures.
