Resumen

The evaluation study of landslide susceptibility has the main objective to determine the potential of the land to create instability, this analysis is to identify intrinsic parameters that influence to a greater extent, for which analyzes each of the parameters coming to select the most important and which are used for this study: lithology, slope, geomorphology and vegetation cover. After defining the parameters are sought to quantify (weights) influence or importance of each in the potential to generate mass movements by calculation methodologies using statistical techniques or heuristics. The methods used must have a way to measure the degree of reliability of the results. Comparisons between the various methods leads to the conclusion that appropriate to use are: Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Discriminant Analysis (DA). The results obtained by each method are compared using the relative density index (IDR), which measures the level of correlation between susceptibility map and the map of landslide inventory. Map AHP result shows slightly improved performance compared to the AD method. Recognition of lithological units and existing geomorphological units is done through field work, complemented by interpreting aerial photographs. He has also used a satellite image of Landsat type by which it has been determined the existing vegetation. The map of landslide inventory is obtained by a mapping of events for each subwatershed in the basin of the river Shullcas 78 have been mapped landslides occupying a total area of 0.92 km2 representing 0.41% of the area. In the basin of the river Achamayo 154 events with total area of 0.46 km2 this represents 0.15% of the area.
