Evaluación de la cobertura del financiamiento en salud a sus afiliados de la IAFAS SIS en el periodo 2018-2022

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the performance level of health financing coverage provided by IAFAS SIS to its affiliates during thc period 2018-2022. lt was an applied research with a quantitative approach. non-experimental design. cross-sectional. and descriptive level, using the synthetic analytical method and the methodology proposed by CEPAL for the evaluation of public programs. The results of the indicators related to health financing coverage offered by IAFAS SIS in its four categories: effectiveness. quality. efficiency, and economy showed that the performance level for the first three categories was moderate or acceptable. while in the economy category. it was high or outstanding. In conclusion, the performance of health financing coverage offered by IAFAS SIS to its affiliates during the period 2018-2022 was. on average. moderate or acceptable. achieving a Global Performance lndex of 60% out of a score of 100% according to the methodology proposed by CEPAL.
